ABOUT US

Honest Fashion beyond the sea

story

Founded and created by fashion designer Christine Sweers , the brand is characterized by her long-standing background as a designer of sportswear , her passion for fashion and beautiful materials. Growing up in the countryside , surrounded by nature and influenced by her parents, the designer has been involved with the Circular thinking as an ideal form of coexistence between humans and nature - out of respect for the environment.

inspiration

Inspiration comes from her North German roots, her love of the sea and growing up surrounded by nature in all weathers, which is inspired by wind and weather as well as materials from the sea such as algae.

Not only the vastness of the sea as an inexhaustible source but also the ancestors of the designer, who travelled around the world as sailors and discovered distant places, shaped the domain name "sweersocean". such as an island in the north of Australia, Sweers Island.

idea

In fashion, she misses sustainable brands without an eco touch, and special, fashionable styles that do not lose any of their glamour and coolness and at the same time are made of high-quality fabrics.

The idea behind SWEERS is to develop a recyclable daily wear collection for women who love freedom, nature and fashion and want to move with the utmost comfort - and with the good feeling of not putting any more strain on the environment.

The collection starts with comfortable casual pieces, which will gradually be supplemented by outdoor and activewear.

Independence in body and mind is what the brand stands for - a piece of luxury made from high-quality materials such as Tencel or Seacell for quiet moments, being outdoors a lot or for a stylish look.

Without freedom, honesty and high quality nothing works

How do we implement these values? Through fair local production, resource-saving processes and the circular fashion system.

We...

... believe that the sustainable future lies in avoiding waste and reusing existing materials.

... stand for absolute honesty towards the consumer and compliance with a circular process to avoid waste and the exploitation of natural resources.

...use natural or existing materials as much as possible.

...are open to the latest technologies in order to use more and more innovative alternatives to functional fabrics that are simply better suited for some activities.
